All-in-One C4599 started printing extremely slowly.

[ Edited ]

All-in-One C4599 started  printing extremely slowly. I tried updates and printer spooler services and it might work for a moment, but it goes back to printing one line every 2 minutes or so and the on/off light blinks constantly.

I have W7, 64bit.  I now have an error message stating that job failed to print due to an error in the printing system. Already tried the Guided Solution too.

Re: All-in-One C4599 started printing extremely slowly.

Do you have it plugged into the wall or into a strip?  We recommend directly into the wall because the power module that is part of the power supply for the printer has a built-in surge protector.  So when it's plugged into a strip, the power gets "filtered" twice and a lot of times there's not enough electricity to perform the task.

It was working fine for the last year and it just started malfunctioning 2 weeks ago.

Re: All-in-One C4599 started printing extremely slowly.

Have you done a hard reset (with unit turned on, pull power from the unit and from wall for 30 sec and reconnecting in reverse)?

Have you checked the USB or Ethernet connections?

Reseated the inks?

Chances are it's a power issue.  Is the LED light on the power module lit?

You may need a power supply replacement.

Done all that. The on/off button blinks while printing (prints ONE line every 2 minutes!). I already unistalled and reinstalled all drivers and updates too.
