ERROR MESSAGE--INK SYSTEM HAS FAILED.UNABLE TO PRINT.REFER TO PRINTER DOCS.ERROR:Oxc18a0401.

this is what came up after i changed 3 ink cart.  it says to cut printer off then back on. this makes no difference. i even unloaded the software and then re-insatlled it but to no avail. the docs don't tell me anything about this problem. this is the first prob. i have ever had with this printer
