HP Laserjet 1312 NFI MFP - Magenta is out of alignment

Hello:

 

I have a HP Laserjet 1312 NFI MFP. Up until a few weeks ago I was happy with the prints it produced. Recently with no changes to the computer/drivers or the printer itself the color has gone out of alignment.

 

What I have tried:

-calibrate color (5+ times)

-reset NVRAM (3+times)

-new paper in the paper tray

 

I am open to suggestions about what to try now. I am a bit dissipointed in this printer but I do not believe in throwing something out that might be repaired.
