Printer doesn't print, displays "load paper" but paper already in tray.

Is any paper jammed in it? Try taking the paper out and reloading it.

There's no obvious paper jam.  I've taken the paper out and replaced it with fresh paper, and it still gives the same message.

Try shutting down the computer for a minutes and turning it back on

I tried shutting it down by disconnecting the power cord (in order to run a status report) but it didn't change anything.
