Have a new HP laptop and installed my old OJ J6400 printer on wireless. worked then now offline. (33 Views)

Have a new HP laptop and installed my old OJ J6400 printer on wireless. worked then now offline.

I checked the IP address and SSID and password on printer and it does connect with router.  But on laptop it says it is offline.  Any thoughts what I can do next.  I let the Laptop installs find the driver for my printer on the web.  Didn't use my old files.

I have the same printer, you can also select to enter the name of the printer u want it to find. It should b able to locate it, since it is connected to the wifi and so is ur labtop. also b sure that ur software for the printer is updated, since it was originally made to run with windows xp it needs an update to work with windows 7. u can find the update on this website. hope this helps
