I purchased my second laserjet printer. My first one was a Laserjet 1200. I loved it, refuse to part with it. I could go as many as six years without having to purchase a new laser cartridge. It was not compatible with my new computer and programs so I of course purchased a new LaserJet M1212nf printer. I am always loyal to the brands I get good service from. Your can imagine my surprise when after six months I have to purchase a new toner cartridge. Well if only last six months it should be a whole lot cheaper.........oh no just $10. cheaper. I want my money back!!!!! I am going bck to my old computer. This sucks!
The other problem I am having is in trying to set up an old HP LaserJet 1000 for the local senior's club. I have been unable to find out how to go about loading the drivers that I have downloaded from your website. I have asked at customer service and all I get is a request for the serial number etc. What has that got to do with giving me the simple instructions I need?
As a loyal customer I have sung the praises of Hewlett Packard to anyone looking for new equipment. I am afraid my tune has changed. HELP can anyone suggest a cheaper printer to operate? Respectfully Bev
