I just installed my new deskjet 2542 can cannot print. I currently have it connected with a USB. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it and I still cannot get it to print.

I understand you are unable to print.

Please provide the following information so I can assist you better.
Is your computer a notebook or desktop?
Did you use the cd or download the drivers?
What operating system are you using? (winxp, win7, win8, win8.1)
Just to clarify both of the posts the printer is connected by usb?

I'm having the same problem with my printer.
I ran it past the HP doctor software and it says that it's a software problem.
I uninstalled the software en started all over again, but still no results..
When pushing the wireless button + black key, it says everythings installed and working perfectly.
