Maintenance/Cleaning of HP Inkjet 7310 All-in-one.

Hi All,

I have a HP Officejet 7310 All-in-one.  Model # SDOB-0305-02 (MY5BOP85SD / Q3461A). I'm running Win 7, SP 1

I am unable to find my manual since moving my office to different rooms in the house.  Long story!

I haven't been keeping up with the maintenance as I should.  I'm now getting a message that the printer is out of paper, right after filling it.  And when it does pick up one sheet, it appears to kick the stack back out of reach.

Second problem I'm having is when I scan a color document or picture.  There is a yellow streak that runs down the right side of the sheet.  If I use the gray scale I notice a slight gray color.  I do not notice any different shading.

The third issue concerns the automatic document feeder.  It picks up either multiple pages or none at all.

Where can I download a copy of the manual?

I would appreciate it, And can anybody supply a quick Reader Digest version for fixing the above problems.

I want to apologize for clicking the "kudos and accepting" immediately after receiving your reply.

Long story, but first time I had a chance to apply your answers.  I can select the "select the Kudos" for the streaking when scanning.  It definitely worked.  Big time "Kudos"!!

Again, a long story, but I will try the other 2 answers later today or tomorrow.

Hi  8lives,

I can now confirm that your answer/suggestions has worked for Problems 2 and 1.  I am hesitant to try number 3.  I don't like messing with things I have to take apart when the items does cost a bit.  My wife doesn't like watching me take things apart, so I politely ask her to leave the room.  I will, however, let you know by this Sunday.
