Hi!
I'd recommend this article regarding this issue:
Depending on the word application being used the steps may be different in resolving this issue.
Hope this helps!

Using Word 2007, trying to print on 6" by 9" envelopes. Printer loads the envelope and then displays "Paper Mismatch" message on printer but no message at computer or Word 2007 session. When I press the "OK" button on printer (as indicated with message), the envelope is ejected from the printer.
One solution in the above article is to "Resume printing". Can't figure out how to do that.
I defined the form/paper type as envelope and the size as 6x9. I tried the various orientations and feed positions available in Word (Mailings->Envelopes->Printing Options) to no avail. If I load letter paper in the tray, it prints...but not with the envelopes.
I do the same routine with #10 envelopes and have no trouble.

Check the tray settings carefully. In case the custom/standard lever or guides have moved slightly. If you are convinced this is all correct, try removing power from the printer, wait 5 minutes, reconnect power, and turn on the printer while it is connected to the PC.

I failed to mention I am using a C7250. It has one paper tray (8.5x ??) and a 4x6 photo paper tray. It is also connection to local network via wireless. I can't imagine why a network connection would produce different results than a direct connection, but I'll give it a try. Thanks.

Tried specifying "Main Tray" instead of "Auto". Tried adjusting the "Custom" size to 5" instead of 6" to see how close the printer scanned the size of the media.
Tried connecting C7250 printer directly to PC with USB cable. Reinstalled drivers and ran thru setup wizard.
Still getting the "Paper Mismatch" message on printer (also getting it on the PC screen now) and no way to tell it to proceed, like when the image goes over the perceived margins and you get a chance to tell it to print anyway.
I'm putting this on the back burner for now and doing my own workaround. I've told Word 2007 that I am printing on #10 envelopes (4.25" x 9.5") and removing the return address from the print image. I will use my rubber stamp return address. I'm beginning to think printing the addresses on sheet labels will be less work, but more expense.
