ScreenSaver. How cancel PowerSaver on officejet 4500 GS10n

Recently purchased OfficeJet 4500 GS10n (wireless), and connected to Mac running OS 10.5.8.  Printer randomly goes into PowerSave mode - sometimes overnight, but then not after 3-day vacation.  Tried every button on control panel but remains in PS mode.  Print attempt results in hang-forever (after about 5 minutes delay, shows "Printing page 1, 0% complete" ... forever).  How do I break the mode whenever it happens, or keep it from ever doing this idiot mode in the first place ?

Hello,

Thanks for the post.  I've attached a couple of links below that may assist with this issue.  I've also read that pressing the #1 key on the printer keyboard will wake the unit up, also make sure that you have the latest drivers and updates.  Good Luck!
