1) Everytime I launch the HP Soluton Center I get a windows installer window that says"configuring the solution center" if I let it complete it wants a restart or the solution center says my device was not installed correctly. If I interupt it (CANCEL) the solution cneter will open. How do I stop this from occurring repeatedly?
2) With every reboot the HPproductassistant tries to install numerous time, then some QUE program tries to install. I can only stop the loop by disabling the HP QUE and HP install services via msconfig. How do I stop this permanently.?
I have done level 4 uninstalls and re-installed (what is the definition of insanity?) numerous times
I can print, when the solution center finally opens I can scan, but what a pain in the ass. An HP support supervisor was supposed to call me on three separate evenings and never called. I have been dropped from the "lead stream" seven times in the last five days.
I was thinking that when I run out of ink I might as welll save the $30 and apply it to an Epson and see if their software and support is any better:-(![]()
