Re: Solution for printing issues for network connected printers

What program are you printing from? When you make a copy does it still print slow and produce blank pages. Try powering both the computer and printer off and on and print again.

Re: Solution for printing issues for network connected printers

Hello,

I've been working on trying to fix this for the last 2 hours. Maybe you can help.

I have a new 5520 all-in-one Photosmart printer. I have printed many documents and it has worked fine. Today I printed 4 photos and went on to my 5th and it stopped working. The "error" message says " there is a problem communicating with the printer. Make sure the printer is powered on and connected to the computer".  and it says "spool area full". I have gone through all the troubleshooting protocol and have unplugged and replugged etc. The computer is connected, the wireless is connected. Help Please?

Thank you so much.

Re: Solution for printing issues for network connected printers

I am not the most proficient on Macs but I can tell that it is highly unlikely this is a connection error (you did the right steps I would have started with too).  The Spool error message seems to be more associated with the Mac and not the printer or its connection, so here is a link that I found.  Let me know if this helps or not:

--Spool Area Full--

I hope this helps!

Re: Solution for printing issues for network connected printers

I have double checked my network connections, etc. but my computer keeps saying printer not on line.  What am I doing wrong?
