Trouble installing Photosmart 8150 with new computer

I have a new computer that uses Windows 7.  I am unable to get my Photosmart 8150 up and running using the setup.exe on the CD from HP.  I get an error message that I need an administrator to run it, which I am.  I can print regular jobs on the printer but cannot upload or edit images from my camera.

Hi,

The Original CD is not intended for Windows 7, therefore you are facing the described issues.

 

A full feature software solution no longer provided for Windows7, but only a basic driver solution, integrated into the OS.

 

You may find how to import images from a memory card as described within the Frequently Asked Questions section below:
