Unable to print in colour (only grey scale)

HP Photosmart C6180 all-in-one ink jet printer.

Just installed all cartridges.  First attempt only allowed a grey scale image.  Applied colour tick box - same result.  Went to diagnostic tool on the internet - indicated all was well with the printer.  Decided to print test page - stayed in queue and did not print. Tied off -line printing - no result.  Status indicates printing in both on-line and off-line modes.  Turned printer off and then on - still no result.  Any advice would be much appreciated.  Prior to doing all this 'work' I attempted to override the expired cartridges.  As this did not work I replaced all the cartridges as indicated at the start of my test.  Even tried to find a support area via the internet and got a blank screen?  So decided to join this forum in the hope that one of you really nice gentlemen/ladies could help out.  Thanks.

I am having the same problem, all diagnostics are checking out fine I installed new drivers but still wont print in color. any help?

I'm having the same issue. Except that my ink cartridges are brand new and listed as under warranty until 2013.
