fax working but not landline.

HP Officejet Pro Plus 8600 Purchased 05/15/12. Connected FAX, now landline phones not working. Desktop connected directly to printer. Landline phones not working after disconnecting FAX cable from printer.

Look at the 'setup fax' section of this to make sure things are hooked up correctly for a serial or parallel phone system:
