I have a Photosmart Premium 309a HP printer USB conn to Win 7 CPU. Prints  ok from my side but never can print from my wifes site. Always pops up SEND FAX screen. Unistalled software and re installed no help. Downloaded and ran dia. tool from HP no help. Good info need Thanks BRR

What is the default printer for your wife in Devices and Printers?

Chked both users under dev. & printers both highlight HP 309 as default & is the only printer. Also checked security permisions and are both allowed to print.Run test print from my side ok run test print from wifes side pops up SEND A FAX  will not print

If you select another printer like MS XPS Doc Writer as default does the Fax msg appear?

THANK YOU 8lives You pointed me in the right direction. Turns out under dev. & printers I only had 2 choices  HP c309a series & MS XPS DOC Writer. However @ the print drop down menu there were 3 choices + MS XPS DOC Writer,  HP c309a series, & HP c309a series FAX. My wifes site was on HP c309a series FAX. Always so simple once found. THANK YOU for your time. BRR
