how to get hp4500 back online?

my printer is HP4580 (identified on my display of printers as HP4500 series). It is copying just fine and is printing from one of my notebooks operating on Windows 7 but is offline for my other notebook operating on Windows 7. There are 4documents in the printer queue from the 2nd notebook that I do not want to lose. How can I get it back online without losing the documents in queue?
