Hi,

Printer can be reset to factory defaults by selecting Setup Menu > Tools > Restore Factory defaults > Yes

Although I am an HP employee, I am speaking for myself and not for HP.

Hi Mercouris ,

Connect the printer to a different wall outlet and try turning on again after 30mins.

Re: how to resetting HP Officejet Pro 8600 plus e-all-in-one

I had a malwear on my lap top. after Century link fixed my PC. my printer was gone along with software.

i tried re loading it with the disc, but it would work. i purchases the Hp Officejet pro 8600 plus all- in-one N911g.

I used HP Wizard to help me down the Printer, but it only downloaded the basic. I don't have the option to fax, scan or etc. from my PC.

can you help me

Hi Rita65,

Restoring defaults on printer will only reset printer and not computer.
