Try the suggestions in this thread first even though it is talking about a different model of printer but hopefully it helps.  If not I have another riskier step to try but I will have to send it via private message.

Hi.

I have this message,

which is marked "solved" on the forum, but i do not see an answer.

I had a paper jam,

and i am pretty sure that a scrap of paper is still in there,

but i cannot see it.

I need to get this fixed, since this is not my printer,

i was just using it and dont want to break it.

Pls help

j the great

Remove all the ink cartridges and you may be able to see where the paper is jammed in there.

This document lists at least 5 ways to check for loose paper

Hi.

I did all the "paper jam fix" steps,

none of them cleared the problem.

I have never before encountered a printer product where there was not a way

to expose and clear the paper path.

I am pretty sure that there is about 1/4 of a sheet trapped inside the printer,

since the papers that took part in the original jam have 1/4 sheet missing.

However, i can see nothing with a flashlight.

It does appear that the error message changed from 61011 to 600f6 (? maybe, hard to read).

Is there anything else i can try?

Try this:

  1. Take all the ink cartridges out
  2. Unplug the printer from the back while it is still on (cold reset)
  3. Make sure it is plugged directly into a wall outlet
  4. Count to ten and plug it back in while holding both the # and 6 on the keypad (if you have those buttons that is)
  5. NVRAM may display if done correctly and this will return the printer to a like-new condition
  6. Insert the ink cartridges
  7. Cross your fingers

Some more non-conventional methods is using canned air and moving the ink carriage with your hand to make sure it will move freely and that it is not actually stuck.
