photo creations not printing photos on my 2610 photosmart printer (win 7)

I have an HP8440p laptop and a HP 2610 Photosmart all-in-one printer.  I recently upgraded to Win 7.  When I had Win XP, I used HP Image Zone to print photos.  After the Win 7 upgrade, I installed HP Photo Creations.  I get to the point where the Print Properties Box appears, showing my printer, connected on USB001, 8..5 x 11in Borderless Photo Paper, etc...  I press OK, and nothing happens.  Nothing is sent to the printer, nothing in the print queue, no error message, nada.  I have uninstalled ALL HP drivers and programmes and reinstalled everything.  Full Feature drivers, Photo Creations, HP Solution Centre.  Always the same thing.  I can select the photo, change the brightness, get rid of red eye, select the print size, etc..., but when I hit print and the print properties box comes up and I press OK, nothing happens.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Paul, do you have the same problem using Windows Live Photo Gallery? Picasa?

I have not used those.  The printer will print normal things like web pages, Word, Paint, pictures, etc.. It is only photo quality prints that it will not work.
