photosmart c7280 lights flashing

I have a c7280 that has worked great for the past 18 months.  Two weeks a go it started to flash all the panel lights at the same time.  I turned it off and back on, it will work for a few hours then starts flashing again.

The problem seem to be well documented in these forums and elsewhere in the internet, however I have found no real solutions.  I have tried the partial and hard resets to no avail.  I have also plugged it ingto it own outlet, and swapped power supplies with my in-laws.  No good.

I am quickly becoming discouraged an would appreciate some help asap.

I've gtot the same problem only now mine won't work at all, just flashes lights.

I can get a couple of error messages such as B800008C  and B375F5C8

Really hoping there is some simple solution rather than scrapping it - first time I've had problems with any of my hp printers
