print problem from computer to printer

New Officejet Pro 8600, Win 7 OS,  wireless  connection. Using wireless and wired routers. Wireless to printer. Try  to print from computer to printer and get nothing. If it is e-mail, then the header on e-mail will print but no body. Connecting to the wireless router all the messages says it is properly connected. Could the cable connections to routers be at fault? Current connections are:

Internet to wireless, Wireless port to internet on wired router, wired port to computer.(have other printers to wired) I can scan from printer to computer and computer to printer. Had a session with a HP rep for over 3 hours fixing the problem. Worked OK until HP sent an update, now back to same problem after update.
