printer offline error message

have a deskjet 4360, new out of box.  Connected it with several USP cables that work on other printers.  Get same error message. Did all the things recommended on HP web site troubleshooting.  Still get same error message

Could you provide the community with a little more information to help narrow troubleshooting? What operating system are we using?
