printing problem spits out a blank page

help please, hi i have a pcs 2115 all in one its pluged in to my new computer running win xp pro with all the updates fp server extensions, dot net, iis, etc  it will print from the network e.g the wifes laptop (win7) in the other room but when it comes to mine it will not print, when i ask it for a test page i get a blank page, no matter what i do to get it to print from my xp machine i get a blank page. i can print a test page from the printer, the wife can print across the network no problem but nothing from the work station, iv uninstalled replaced the drivers, tried alsort, but ive run out of ideas  anyone have any sugestion please. thanks
