we have an hp 6500a that is less than a year old and is acting up how do i get it replaced?

This is the second 6500A that we have purchase, I purchased it because I have an 8500 that I really like and have had no trouble with, the 6500A has been nothing and I mean nothing but a headache!  The first one was sent back and replaced by your company because it was noisey and sticking when we tried to scan with it...when we got the new one it was the same noisey product but at least it worked now it will be a year old in March and it is stopping and resetting during scanning...so before I buy a different product I am asking you if the limited warranty will replace this one or not.  Thanks Barbara {Personal Information Removed} Office Manager, F.C.
