I have typed in "2" for multiple copies of the same page, on both IE and Adobe Illustrator, and my 1200 series printer (product # C7044A) prints only 1 copy. I tried tabbing forward out of the Copies field to see if that would help, but I still get 1 copy.
The printer driver is Universal Driver PCL5 (PCL6 and PS do not work for this printer, if that's any help). My OS is Win7Pro, and I have a Pavillion dv7tQuad.
In the near future, I need to print 12 copies or so of handouts for a class I'm teaching, so it will really help to resolve this!
Any ideas?

The product you have is a commercial printer. I suggest posting in the forum for HP Business Support for a better chance at finding a solution.
You may find the Commercial Laserjet board here.

My local tech found the problem. I don't know where it is, but something called "mopier" was either checked or unchecked. Whichever way it was, it allowed only one copy to print. We reversed the action and all is fine now.
