Hi,
Lets perform following steps on printer
Place the documents to be scanned in the ADF and open the HP Solution software.
Click Scan document . The Scan document window will open.
Select Text and Graphic(s) as Image , Text as Image , Editable Text , or Editable Text with Graphic(s) .
In the Destination box near the bottom of the window, click Save to file .
Click Scan . If the Preview window opens, wait until all the pages have finished scanning, and then click Accept .
If the preview window does not open, a Save As window will open after all the pages have finished scanning.
Use the Save In drop-down menu to select a location to the document in. Type the desired document name in the File Name box and then click PDF in the File Type drop-down.
Click Save . The file is now saved in a multi-page PDF format.

It seems that the "Add page" option is only available if you start with "Document to email". Choosing "Document to file" does not facilitate multiple pages. My first reaction is "Did someone from IBM/Lotus program this?" How could this be any worse?

I have the same printer, the only way to get that box that says add page is by choosing a resolution below 600 dpi.
Hope that helps you out!

This isn't a very good fix to a common sense problem. It needs to be more user friendly not a game of hide and seek.

With Windows 8 drivers ( for HP 2050 series) the option " add / remove page " does not exist. It was fine in Windows 7 drivers. This happens even if the check box for multiple pages scan in the advanced setting is un checked.
