Hi,
Just bought C310 AIO printer. Installation was a problem (was crashing at the same stage), but after a while I managed to install it and now I'm able to print documents via Wi-Fi, print the ones sent via e-mail, basically, print works. But my problem is scanner. I'm unable to scan anything and sent it to my pc, wheter I initiate scanning from my PC (VAIO VPCEB - Windows 7) or from printer.
When I try to initiate scan from printer i get to choose my pc, and then there should be different options to choose (document to pdf, image to file, etc.). In my case, it just same pc name, so I get to choose my pc twice. After that I get a popup on my PC telling me to update LCD list - I can only guess it wants me to update the menu where I should be able to choose scan options, problem is, it doesn't update no matter how many times I tell it to update in the scanning options of HP Center.
When I try to initiate scan on my PC HP Scan window opens and does nothing, while printer says "scanning" and does nothing as well. After 10-15 minutes I just have to cancel it.
I tried running scan diagnostics and it tells me that there's a driver problem, and that I should uninstall and install again. Problem is, I did it number of times and it didn't solve anything. I'm close to just returning this printer and buying one from different brand, because I'm just tired of fighting with something that should take minutes to install, not hours or days.
Other problem I get is I can't access my printer via it's IP address. From what I understand, there should be a way to access some kind of web interface, but It never loads. I wait, and wait, but It doesn't open.
Hope someone encountered a problem like this and can help me.
Kind regards,
Marcin

What was the outcome with this issue? I'm experiencing a very similar problem on my laptop running Windows 7 64bit. I have a desktop running Windows XP 32bit SP3 and everything works like a champ. Any info on your resolution would be helpful.
Thanks!

I ended up buying new wi-fi router and it solved a problem. For some reason (weird communication problem), drivers were not installing properly, even though there was no error message. New router solved a problem.

I installed a new wireless router today and everything is working perfectly! Thank you for the great advice :-) It was an upgrade from a trustworthy, albeit old, G router to a fancy and fast N router and I configured all the router settings the same. The LCD list on the printer showed up correctly without any additional input from me. I didn't have to change a thing on either computer with the drivers or software, so I really can't put my finger on where exactly the trouble was. At this point who cares....it works! Thanks again and take care.
