My color laserjet CM1312nfi MFP printer suddenly wasn't available to print to in Windows7 32 bit. I reinstalled the software (said it was already there), so I reinstalled the printer. Can now print to it, but can't scan from the computer. Get the error message saying "No Twain-compliant device installed, please install one and try again". I've searched and search HP support and can't find a solution. Google came up with some, but none relevant to CM1312 - plus I tried some and they didn't work.
Any suggestions?
I'd also like to set up the "scan to computer" functionality from the printer itself, but it says it's not set up and to look in the instruction manual for how to fo it - well, I can't find the "how to" for that either!
Please help! Scanning is the essential to my business!

I have also this problem in office. We use CM1312nfi in network. HP software with drivers is installed on Windows XP and 7 (32bit and 64) and on all computers we can see printer in network and we can print but nobody can scan. There is always no Twain installed error. The only way we can use scanner is to connect it via USB. What is problem with software can you fix it?

Also wieder USB
