Can I use my regular phone line to fax ? I have comcast for email and network service.

Hi:

You should be able to if there is a RJ-11 phone jack port on your printer.

What I do is I leave the phone wire disconnected to my printer/fax machine, and when I need to send or receive a fax, I plug the phone line in, and let it happen.

That way, I don't worry about the phone ringing and the fax machine picking it up when a person is calling.

Since I don't send or receive faxes very often (less than once every few months), this is not an issue.

Scanning and e-mailing is the way to go.

Edit:  I see from the below that your printer does not have an RJ-11 phone jack, so you can't use a regular phone line to send and receive faxes.

I afraid the answer is No,

The HP Photosmart 7510 only provide digital fax capabilities using the eFax service, the specific device does not support Analog fax lines.
