DSS 5.03

Hello, we have HP DSS v5.03.01.579.  I am trying to get either a Workflow item or a Scan to Folder option set.  I would like to set a "DEFAULT FILE NAME PREFIX" on several units.  Thru google searches, i found this:

http://h20566.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?sp4ts.oid=428008&docId=emr_na-c01793629&docLocale=...

HOWEVER, Since the units are attached to DSS server, the Digital Sending tab is non functional.

I want to configure these setting thru DSS.

Any one able to help???

Hello,

If you go into the DSS configuration utility, select the device you want to add the filename prefix to.

1.  Double click on the device in the configuration utility

2. On the Device Configuration window that pops up, select the "Send to Folder" tab.

3. Scroll down and set up folder just like you would have in the Embedded Web Server and configure the filname prefix.

4. Press Apply

It should now be set up.
