I get the following error message when I try to scan a second document or page 2 of a multipage document.
The scan cannot be performed because another program or computer is using the networed HP imaging device.
Extended Error Information
8, [(0, 18, -2147467259)]
I'm running in wireless mode. And if I try to start the scan from the printers touch screen and choose Computer as the source, it tells me to start the scan from the computer.
Any suggestions?

Usually similar errors just need the computer and scanner restarting. I would restart the scanner first so make sure that is on first. Go to default settings when you have the software loaded again and that should do it. We usually get similar errors that are solved this way. http://www.pearl-scan.co.uk
