Email/scanner Software M425

I want to use the Scanner to email/folder feature but it is indicating I have to install software.  My question is do I have to have this software running all the time or is this only for setup?

 

I don't really want to have a computer/server to have to have this software running just to scan to email/folder.  If this is required all the time it is very disappointing...

The scan to e-mail function just needs to be enabled through the driver software or through a web browser embedded web server.  Try following this configuration document:
