Envy 100 scanner scans twice

Running Mac Lion (10.7.3.)  I'm scanning a document and it will scan it twice, renaming the original docuent and create two files.  Sometimes the first file is a partial image, blown up.  The second image is always scanned as specified, 100% scale. 

 

Any help?
