Fail to scan with my officejetpro 8600 plus to one of 3 computers on my home network.

Hi, 

I Cannot scan  with my officejetpro 8600 plus  to one of 3 computers on my home network (windows 7 32).  After uninstalling and reinstalling I ran scan diagnostic utility 4.2 and The message was "no scanner installed". I reinstalled the software and installations hangs while trying to find the computer on the network. I tried everything that was suggested including checking that WIA dependencies DCOM RPC and Shell Hardware Detection are started but no luck. Please help

How are you connected to your network (Ethernet cable or Wireless)?

Is the printer installed on this computer again?

Can you access the EWS - Embedded Web Server from the computer having the issue?

Access EWS:

1. Open Internet Explorer

2. Type IP address assigned to printer in the address bar

3. Printer information will be displayed

Hi, 1. I am connected via Wireless 2. Yes I reinstalled the software on the win 7 computer 3. Yes I can access the EWS from the computer with the issue. I am traveling now. I'll try to connect the printer to the router with an Ethernet cable. Thanks for helping

my sanner on 8600 plus cuts off portions of my photo when i try to send it to my compuer--when i send it to email jpeg it seems ok --why ?
