Faxing (sending) multiple pages using document feeder - Officejet 6500A PLUS

Hello,

Everytime I try to fax more than 10 pages at once, using the document feeder at the top of the all-in-one printer all of the pages pass through the device and de screen appears to send the pages correctly. After the 10th page for example, it continues to search for an 11th page when there is none and de feeder on top is empty. Normally, the printer should 'sense' that there are no more originals placed en it should send all papers, but here it continues to search for another paper en the fax appears as an error in the fax history. Faxing pages one by one on the glass plate is not a problem, and my printer passed all faxtest available. 

Is this error caused by a hardware problem or software? (I installed the latest updates)

Hi naishkiter,

Turn off the printer for 1 to 2 minutes, and then make sure the power is connected directly to the wall when you plug it back in. Retest the faxing to see if the issue has been resolved?

Has anyone resolved the issue with having 3 pages faxed and the machine hangs saying it is faxing a fourth non existent page? Happened multiple times in the last few months.Thank you

Are you faxing from the ADF or from the glass?

Are you faxing from the computer or front panel of the printer?

Faxing from the adf. Quite frustrating. Faxes the pages that are loaded but says another page is faxing. There is no other page. It will finally time out. It has been doing it for some time. Has the latest firmware.

Download and install this version of firmware, and then let me know if you have the same issues?

 It appears as I have already updated to CIP1FN1206AR firmware.

Unable to reload, just shows printer connected via USB. Can not select.

Did as requested. They had me do a semifactory reset. Still having an issue. They are checking on a solution.Copy works well.
