Formatter board for Digital Sender 9250c

We have a Digital Sender 9250c (PN CB472A)

One day we ran into an error "FAILURE SEND RFU UPGRADE ON USB DEV PORT"

We've done our research and tried to do things like

1.  connecting to USB to a computer and trying to send the upgrade.  Comptuer asks for HP Laserjet USB Upgrade and we choose to install with a 4100 driver.  Renamed the printer to Hewlett-PackardHP LaserJet USB Upgrade and tried to send the rfu to the sender. 

2.  Used a mac and tried the same thing. 

We are thinking the formatter board is physically bad and need a new one.  However not to sure on the specific part we need.  We are thinking that the part number we need is

IR4044K275NR  

Scanner control board (SCB) - Provides timing and control for the scanner
RoHS: Modified

But would like confirmation that is the piece we need.
