HP 2410 all in one will copy and print but will not scan.

I get scan options are not set. I am using windows 7 64 bit. I tried to download the driver and it did a test scan and said that the scan is working properly. When i go to scan from the printer, I get the scan options are not set. Is there a way to scan using the computer instead of the scan button on the printer?

I fixed it. i have to use the scan utility on the computer instead of the printer.
