I live in china and I bought HP LASER JET PRO CM1415fnw from dubai thinking this medel is not available in China.
The printer is excellent the only missing point is it should have PC Fax. If I receive any fax it is better the printer can send the fax to email.
Also its better if we can send fax from Computer.
This will help us in saving paper.
The printer is excellent, the model fnw can select wi fi and also the set up is very easy and very fast.
Also in the printer set up in cuntry selection only europe , America, Middle east and African countries are listed. Did not find much asian countries such as India and China.
Hope HP can develop still better softwares and better options.

Hello jdpatel1
Some HP printers do support Fax to Computer or Fax to Network folder. However, the Laserjet Pro CM1415 only supports sending documents from the Computer to the fax.
If you would like I could help you find a printer that does support Fax to Computer.
As for the country selection are you referring to the options in the install software?

Thanks for your reply.
Yes I am aware, many printers have PC fax. Are you sure laser jet cm1415 can send the documents to the fax wireless?
What I meant is send the documents to the fax wireless and also send the fax wireless
If HP can develop such kind of updates than this printer will be excellent.
In country settings I don't find china.
Also HP website on selecting china it shows only Chinese language.
Since HP is week reckoned international brand they should have English and Chinese options for china.
Also HP equipment are made in China but in china local market all lab tops are sold loaded with Chinese Microsoft version. Even if we demand original English microsoft version laptops its not available. I bought one for my daughter in UK with English version Microsoft software and it was made in china.
This thing changed me to buy apple computers and I am very happy for the same.
HP should be aware there are many expats in china and they can't read or write Chinese so they must give language options to sell their products in china.

Hello jdpatel1
The following is taken from page 153 of the Laserjet Pro CM1415fnw User Manual:
Send a fax from the software
The following information provides basic instructions for sending faxes by using the software that came
with the product. All other software-related topics are covered in the software Help, which can be opened
from the software-program Help menu.
You can fax electronic documents from a computer if you meet the following requirements:
●The product is connected directly to the computer or to a network to which the computer is
connected.
●The product software is installed on the computer.
●The computer operating system is one that this product supports.
Send a fax from the software
The procedure to send a fax varies according to your specifications. The most typical steps follow.
1. Click Start, click Programs (or All Programs in Windows XP), and then click HP.
2. Click the product name, and then click Send fax. The fax software opens.
3. Enter the fax number of one or more recipients.
4. Load the document in the document feeder.
5. Click Send Now.
Send a fax from a third-party software program, such as Microsoft Word
1. Open a document in a third-party program.
2. Click the File menu, and then click Print.
3. Select the fax print driver from the printer driver drop-down list. The fax software opens.
4. Enter the fax number of one or more recipients.
5. Include any pages loaded at the product. This step is optional.
6. Click Send Now.
Thank you for your feedback about language options. I will forward your feed back to an appropriate department.

Thanks, yes I can see microsoft version but I am using Mac. I have also revived CD for Mac.
I haven't installed the CD yet because Mac detect the printer automatically.
So I will try to install CD of HP and check.

Jigar

Hello jdpatel1
From what I can tell Print to Fax is not supported in Mac OSX. I did, however, locate an article that you may be interested in on the Apple Support site. It indicates you can create a special PDF that you can send to the printer/fax and it should fax out. Below is the excerpt and the link will be below that:
You can preview your print job as a PDF, or even save it as a PDF file (with metadata if you wish).
Click the "PDF ▾" button in any printer dialog box and the PDF workflow menu will drop down with these options:
- Open PDF in Preview - A generated PDF of your print job will be opened in the application Preview.
- Save as PDF... - Creates a PDF of your print job to a destination of your choice. With options to add meta data to the PDF (Title, Author, Subject and Keywords). This meta data can be a big help when you use Spotlight.
- Clicking "Security Options..." button will open the PDF Security Options dialog box. Where you will have these options:
- Require password to open document
- Require password to copy text, images and other content
- Require password to print document
- Clicking "Security Options..." button will open the PDF Security Options dialog box. Where you will have these options:
- Save as PostScript... - Generates a PostScript file of your print job to a destination of your choice.
- Fax PDF - A generated PDF of your print job is sent to your Fax device for transmission.
- Mail PDF - A generated PDF of your print job is attached to a new email document. All you have to do is add recipients and send it.
- Save as PDF-X - Generates a PDF-X of your print job to a destination of your choice. PDF-X files follow a series of printing related requirements not found in standard PDFs, and are used by professional print shops.
- Save PDF to iPhoto - A generated PDF of your print job will be imported into iPhoto.
- Save PDF to Web Receipts Folder - A generated PDF of your print job will be saved to your "~/Documents/Web Receipts" folder.
- Edit menu... - Let you add / remove printing Workflows. See Automator on how to create new printing workflows.

Dear Sir,
I tried to install the CD suitable for MAC but it says it is not compatible with the latest version of 10.8.
It is only compatible with OS version 10.6 and lower.
Also I tried to download from Internet but same problem.

HI SIR,
THANKS FOR YOUR MESSAGE AGAIN.
I TRIED TO DOWNLOAD THE LINK YOU GAVE ME BUT I DONT FIND ANY DIFFERENCE AFTER DOWNLOADING.
1) AFTER I DOWNLOADED THE LINK, THE COMPUTER SAYS CANNOT RECOGNISE THE SOFTWARE.
2) SO I SELECT AUTOMATOR TO OPEN IT.
3) AUTOMATOR GAVE ME OPTIONS TO RUN THE DOWNLOAD AS APPLICATION OR SERVICE OR PRINT PLUG IN.
I DOWNLOADED THE SOFTWARE AS PRINT PLUG IN AND ALSO AS AN APPLICATION.
4) AFTER I SELECT THE FOLDER FOR PRINT OR APPLICATION I OPTED TO RUN AND AT THE BOTTOM OF AUTOMATOR WINDOW IT SAYS WORK FLOW COMPLETED.
5) WHILE THE COMPLITION OF WORK FLOW I ALSO HEAR A WHISTLE OR SOFT HORN KIND OF VOICE FROM MY MAC.
HENCE I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO NEXT.
REGARDS,
JIGAR
