Did you ever get an solution?
I'm having the same prob w/ my 7310xi. I'm on windows XP, I've reloaded software many times, I have no 'HP solution center icon'. It used to scan but not now?? Any feedback?

TRY SCANNING ON MY HP OFICEJET 6210xi Allin one printer, and get a no scan option, and a reading to install or run device software for reatures, what can I do to correct this problem?
