HP Officejet Pro 8500A Plus e-All-in-One Printer - A910g. - Fax Confirmation Page

I have the HP Officejet Pro 8500A Plus e-All-in-One Printer - A910g. It works just fine, but how do I get a fax confirmation page, with the miniature printout of the 1st page of the document I sent?  I checked the setup info, but it doesn't seem to have the directions for confirming that I sent the fax via the confirmation page with a small printout.

Hi dtaylor569,

Follow the instructions below.

To enable fax confirmation
1. Touch right arrow , and then select Setup.
2. Touch Fax Setup, and then select Fax Reports.
3. Touch Fax Confirmation.
4. Touch to select one of the following options.

• Off - Does not print a fax confirmation report when you send and receive faxes successfully. This is the default setting.
• On (Fax Send) - Prints a fax confirmation report for every fax you send.
• On (Fax Receive) - Prints a fax confirmation report for every fax you receive.
• On (Send and Receive) - Prints a fax confirmation report for every fax you send and receive.

Prints a fax confirmation report for every fax you send and receive.
To include an image of the fax on the report
1. Touch Setup.
2. Touch Fax Reports, and then select Fax Confirmation.
3. Touch On (Fax Send) or On (Send and Receive).
4. Touch Fax Confirmation with image.

Last message from printer said I'd  get a miniature printouit only if document was sent via "scan and fax".  I wonder how this is done.  I'm looking for that setting, but don't see it.

Before a hit the "kudos" star, I typed this reply.  Now, I don't see the kudos star.  When I first went to this page, and t

typed this, I saw the "kudos" star, but when I tried clicking on it, it wouldn't click anything into the star.  Instead it gave me a mesage that said I couldn't send messages with that post

Well, I'll post this first, and see if the kudos star appears again.  Goodness, you deserve it, for helping me out of my misery!

I have bought the HP Officejet Pro 8600 N911g.

But the fax confirmation page is printed without the fax image.

I did all the setup instructions 2 times and they are OK (fax confirmation set with image printing).

And still the confirmation is without image.

What can I do about it.
