There are 5 pages of paper jam issues with this printer starting back in 2010.  Why was I able to buy a product with this record over 6 months after the issue was first recorded.  What kind of company is HP.  I can't wait to get my consumer reports survey this year.  This product flat out does not work!

Nice,  $400 equipment that requires a jerryrig to run.

I should have know better than to buy an HP when the Office Max guy told me they get one in three returned for repairs.  But what else is there.  Guess it's time to start researching new brands as my boss just said he was going to throw it this printer out the window.  See you on another brand forum....

{Removed for privacy}  I've been on the phone multiple times with the support line and the on line chat help. I've followed all instructions on line - This thing has not worked since I bought it.  Now that it's 2 months old, they say they will not replace it even though they admitted it was a hardware defect.  No wonder HP stock is tanking.

I see a lot of folks have a problem with the feeder that I'm having when I use the glass. The feeder works fine. As soon as the store gets a couple other model with the same features, this one goes back. I was told it's a part in the printer that is bad and not worth replacing. I've only had this printer 3-4 months.

My printer is not even a year old and this message is happening every time I print two or more pages and it prevents my faxes from completing.  It appears that this is not just a problem with my printer but wide-spread with all C410s.  My serial number is {Removed for privacy}

Re: HP Photosmart C410 document feeder says there is a jam everytime I use it (when the job is done)

I got some good replies but I found my issue. I did not have the panel on top of the document feeder down tight so I thought i'd take a good look around. At the very back ( that is way to the end of the printer) I found a piece of blue packing tape I'd missed. I removed this and have had no problem since. I'll keep my finger crossed. That is after I finish typing this. I hope this helps someone.
