HP ScanJet N 8420 "Kofax +scanner Handler Error"

We are using Hp scanjet N 8420 & for scanning Kofax (4.5)  utility we are using.

 

Frequently we are getting " scanning handler error " . OS window xp sp3.

 

1) We are using Kodak Imaging utility ( win 98) and calling kofax software for scanning purpose.

 

any solution to resolve this error.
