How can I send J4680 Sending a Fax from my computer?

It worked!!! In my Software Update "Installed Software" column Hewlett Packard Printer is now listed. Does that mean now I will be receiving HP updates?

Not necessarily,

The Installed Software column list any installed software, and not any future update.

Any HP Update should automatically be detected, which does not happen for some reason..

It may indicate any connectivity issue with the Apple Software Update or any other cause by the OS envoirnment...

Maybe Apple will be able to provide you some better answers why it did not happen.. as i am not aware the way the Software Update engine works.

Anyway, future updates could be manually installed in the future, similar the way it has been done now.

The latest driver version is listed below, and being updated with any new package provided by HP and Apple, and ot can be compared with the current driver version listed within the printer settings:

OK, I'll contact HP and see what they say. One last question. How would I send a multi-page fax?

Hi Erna, With pleasure

More likely Apple will be able to provide you better answers regarding the Software Update issue.

By printing a Multi Pages document to the fax printer, the multi-pages fax will be sent.

If you mean to send several different files by one fax session, it is impossible by the software... your only option will be to manually combine the several pages into a single document and then send the Fax.
