Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

Please watch thee examples on how to print and scan:

Scanning from Chromebook

Scanning Multiple pages from Chromebook

Hi,

You may also use Scan to Email to scan directly from the printer screen to your Gmail account.

To setup a such follow 'Scan directly to email (network connections only) > Windows > Method two: Use the Embedded Web Server to set up Scan to Email' below:

http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Officejet-Pro-8610/8620/8630-e-All-in-One-Printer-series/5367...

Note: for Gmail use the following settings

SMTP Server: smtp.gmail.com

Port: 465

SSL/TLS: Checked

User or Pasword required: Checked

Use both your full gmail address as your user and its password.

If the test fails open the following link and ensure you are logged on to the same account as you are setting for the printer.
https://myaccount.google.com/

Within the Sign-in & security section click on Signing in to Google and ensure that "2-Step Verification" is set as "Off".

Within the left pane click on Connected apps & sites and ensure that "Access for less secure apps" is set as "ON", otherwise the verification will fail.

Once you are done run a test for the outgoing user profile and check if the test now passes.

Regards,
Shlomi
