I just purchased an Envy 4500 and an iPad mini. I am able to print from the ipad to the Envy, but can't find any instructions for scanning a document on the Envy and saving it to the iPad. The user guide only has instructions for windows or mac

Hi c_m_w,

Welcome to the HP Support forums. I gather that you would like to learn how to scan from your Envy 4500 printer to your iPad.

I’ve included the How to Scan: From a Mobile Device document for your reference. It will walk you through  how to scan using  HP’s All-in-One Printer Remote app.  For additional reference I’ve also included the HP All-in-One Printer Remote App FAQ document.
