How to clean scanner head?

It appears there're some dusts on my C6180 scanner head - some vertical shade lines showing on every picture scanned at the same locations.

Is there any way to clean it?  Or how to solve it if this problem caused by something else?

it's not possible to clean the scanner itself, but you can clean the glass bed, which is the only place where dust gets accumulated easily. try following this document and tell me if it helps.

I have scanned in a multi-page document on my 7510 - and, the documents, surprisingly had wet ink.  It seems the wet ink accumulated on the scanner "eye" and now lines are drawn on every multi-page doc scan.  How can I clean this scanner?
