How to reset scan PIN number from touch screen

Each email address on the scan-to-email option has a PIN security number.  At least one of the users has entered their PIN incorrectly and cannot remember it.  How can we reset the PIN or remove the users email address?

Welcome to the HP support forums.

I understand that you would like to reset a pin or delete an email address from the scan to email feature on your Officejet 8620.  I would like to help.

There are two different versions of scan to email.

The first is software related. You would touch scan then scan to email to access this version.

You would have to reset this version from either a connected computer that has the software installed or from the printers EWS (Embedded Web Server).

The other version is accessed by touching Apps then Scan to email.

This version can be prompted for a pin reset from the front panel.

This version will not allow you to remove emails on at a time.

It's all or nothing.
