We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

When I use HP Print and Scan Doctor advanced settings has an imprinted check mark to scan as separate pages, whcih I do not want. Most times I am scanning a document to be in one file, and separate pages.

 

Can someone advise how to scan to one file.

Try this alternative software:

 

HP Scan Extended

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi

Once it's downloaded and installed, go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Scan Extended > Run "HP Scan Extended"

Let us know if that works.

Can you Uncheck that?

 

On your scan software, go to Advanced and uncheck that.

Hi Dean, no I cannot uncheck....that's the problem.

If I have to, I can download the link you previously sent me. I did a few days ago and could scan, then the next day when I used the laptop I had problems bringing up win7, and needed to restore back a week and then everything was ok.
