Hi Jeannyjuly,
You have indicated that you can't scan, so I want to make sure you are not having a hardware failure. What i am looking for is to see if you are able to make a copy to test the hardware?
Can you send a fax from the front panel of the printer?

Yes, I can make copies and I can scan using the window's program but I can not fax and scan from the printer panel.
How can I get the information to you.
There is no place to attach a document or picture

Hi Jeannyjuly,
Since you are able to scan using the windows program can you scan the fax report, and then attach it to this post for me to review.
What messages do you get when you attempt to fax or scan from the printers control panel?

Hi Jeannyjuly,
Ok, we need to do the following to isolate the fax issues.
Step 1. Use new phone cable, if issue remains continue to next step
Step 2. Use a different phone jack, if issue remains continue to next step
Step 3. Connect the printer to a different phone source outside your home (example: Friends or relatives home line)
Let me know what you have found out?
